Choosing a Chevy protection plan extends your protection beyond the three years or 36,000 miles covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. As your Chevy dealership, we want to tell you about some of the other warranty benefits you receive from one of these plans.
Warranty Coverage Plan Options
You can choose the level of coverage you want, from protecting just the most essential systems to comprehensive protection of almost all of your Chevy’s systems and components. There are three plans: Powertrain, Silver, and Platinum. We’re going to take a look at the protection they offer.
Powertrain Coverage
This is the basic plan, and covers your Chevy’s most important systems, the ones that allow it to move. The engine, transmission, drive axle, transfer case, and transaxle are all protected. If you have a hybrid vehicle, its specialized components are also covered by this plan.
Silver Coverage
This plan covers all the systems above and also protects the front and rear suspension, the electrical system, climate control, the steering system, and your brakes.
Platinum Coverage
As the highest-tier plan, this protects everything in the other two plans and also covers the audio system, navigation system, video display screen, and all driver assistance technology, like the Collision-Avoidance System and Lane Departure System. This plan offers the greatest peace of mind as it protects over 1,500 systems and components.
They’re Transferrable
You can choose a plan duration of up to twelve years or 120,000 miles, whichever comes first. If you decide to sell your Chevy during this time, the plan and its remaining time are fully transferable to the new buyer for a small fee. This can make finding a buyer even easier and give you the best possible price.
Roadside Assistance Included
The unexpected can happen when you’re driving, particularly if you’re far from home. If anything does happen, you won’t be stuck on the side of the road. Expert technicians are available 24/7/365 and will be sent to your location to help get you back on the road again ASAP. They can tow you to the nearest dealership if needed and offer many other services. The technicians can provide lockout assistance, jump-starting, and emergency fuel delivery of up to three gallons three times a year. They can also change a flat tire if you have a spare and deliver oil, water, or other fluids you may need. Fuel and fluids supplied are charged for, and payment is on delivery.
Repair costs increase over time, and a protection plan can help to keep them at bay. If you’d like to know more about these plans or have decided on the plan for you, contact us today at Wild West Chevrolet in Yerington, NV.
