A work-ready all-electric powertrain, four-wheel steer, and a semi-autonomous driving mode are some of the innovative features you will find in the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV. The pickup truck also offers a ground-breaking driving range, allowing you to take its capabilities farther than the competition.

All-Electric Powertrain

The Silverado EV takes Chevy’s light-duty pickup truck into the electric age, replacing the standard TurboMax engine with a dual-motor setup and a high-voltage battery. The electric motors are positioned on either axle, generating a net 760 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque and forming a work-ready four-wheel drive (4WD) system. This setup allows the pickup truck to tow up to 12,500 lbs and hit 60 mph in under 4.5 seconds.

Long-Haul-Ready Range

460 miles of electric range enables the Silverado EV to complete a long haul on a single charge. If your journey takes you even farther, you can stop to recharge at any of the over 250,000 compatible public chargers. The Silverado EV gains 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes when connected to a 350 kW DC Fast Charger.

Four-Wheel Steer

Challenging the consensus that full-size pickup trucks are difficult to maneuver, the Silverado EV offers an innovative four-wheel steer system. It works by turning the rear wheels in the opposite direction to the front ones, enabling the pickup truck to make tighter turns when pulling into a narrow parking space.

Convenient Backup Power

The Silverado EV is capable of transferring energy from its high-voltage battery to charge devices or fire up power tools where the grid is unavailable. The pickup truck provides 10.2 kW of offboard power through 11 in-cabin and cargo-bed-mounted sockets. You can also extend the power supply beyond the truck with the available accessory power bar, which comes with a built-in cord.

The pickup truck can also power your home through a GM Energy PowerShift Charger and a V2H enablement kit. If energy is properly rationed, the Silverado EV can keep your home appliances running for up to 21 days during a grid failure.

Semi-Autonomous Driving

Available Super Cruise driver assistance technology relieves much of your workload when driving hundreds of miles on interstate highways. The semi-autonomous driving technology controls the truck’s throttle, steering, and braking, keeping it safely centered in the lane and away from other vehicles. It can also initiate automatic lane changes if the vehicle behind the Silverado EV is getting closer or if the vehicle ahead is moving too slowly.

The Silverado EV is packed with innovative features that simplify trailering and bring excitement to your adventures. Contact us at Wild West Chevrolet in Yerington, NV to find out how you can make the electric pickup truck yours.
