While still a relatively new model, the Chevy Blazer EV has quickly become a popular choice in the electric SUV market. With innovative safety and technology features added into the newest model, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV promises to bolster its reputation further.

1. HD Surround Vision

The Chevy Blazer EV’s HD Surround Vision gives you total awareness of your surroundings. Using four cameras, placed on each side of the car, you will be able to see curbs, walls, bollards, and more. This feature can also produce a bird’s-eye view of your car, which is especially useful when you are parking or reversing.

2. Adaptive Cruise Control

With Adaptive Cruise Control, you can set a desired gap between your Blazer EV and vehicles in front of you. When the vehicle in front of you slows down, so will your vehicle, using automatic braking. When there are no vehicles up ahead, cruise control will return to working as usual. The feature goes as far as working until you reach a complete stop, resuming again once you accelerate.

3. Reverse Automatic Braking

The Chevy Blazer EV’s Reverse Automatic Braking feature will prevent you from accidentally backing into walls, bollards, or other vehicles. If the car’s rear-looking radar and ultrasonic sensors detect that you are getting too close to an object when reversing, they will send alerts in the form of pulses on the seat and audible beeps. If you get too close, the system will apply a hard, emergency brake, preventing any contact.

4. 11-Inch Driver Display Screen

The 11-inch driver display screen situated just behind the wheel of the Blazer EV will present you with every scrap of information you could ask for. One quick glance and you can learn your current speed, tire pressure, range, and more. The 17.7-inch infotainment screen is also tilted toward the driver, making it easy to see while you’re driving.

5. IntelliBeam High Beam Assist

Forgetting to turn your high beams off in the face of oncoming traffic can put other drivers at risk, impairing their vision. The Blazer EV’s IntelliBeam High Beam Assist feature puts an end to this issue, automatically toggling to the low beams when it detects the headlights of other vehicles. This gives drivers one less thing to think about when driving at night.

6. Blind Zone Steering Assist

Blind zones can cause real issues for drivers, especially when changing lanes on the highway. The Blazer EV’s Blind Zone Steering Assist prevents collisions when changing lanes, using radar technology to detect a possible collision. If another vehicle is in your side blind spot, the car will automatically steer you back into the center of the lane, preventing contact.
