The LT trim includes 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome accents, and a grille with Chevrolet's gold bowtie emblem and silver mustache bar. Body-color elements, larger air openings near the front wheels, 19-inch alloy wheels with available 20-inch wheels, and black accents on the mirrors, emblems, and roof rails are featured in the RS model. The ACTIV trim focuses on off-road use with 17-inch wheels and General Grabber all-terrain tires and offers black exterior elements, including the bowtie emblem and roof rails. The front fascia includes a winged treatment flowing into the daytime running lights and turn signals. All trims have squared wheel openings with fender flares, front and rear LED lighting, and flush door handles. A two-tone roof in Summit White or Mosaic Black Metallic is available.

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter I-4 engine producing 175 horsepower at 5,600 rpm across all trim levels. Front-wheel drive models achieve 184 pound-feet of torque between 2,000 to 4,800 rpm, while all-wheel-drive versions provide 203 pound-feet of torque from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm. Front-wheel-drive models are paired with a continuously variable transmission, and all-wheel-drive versions have an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The all-wheel-drive 2025 Chevrolet Equinox reaches 60 mph in 8.6 seconds and can tow up to 1,500 pounds. Front-wheel drive versions manage 800 pounds of towing capacity. Regarding fuel economy, front-wheel-drive models offer 26 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. All-wheel-drive versions achieve 24 mpg city and 29 mpg highway. Both models get 26 mpg combined. The 15.6-gallon fuel tank in the all-wheel-drive models provides a driving range of 310 to 357 miles.

The Chevrolet Equinox's interior has an 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Google integration paired with an 11.0-inch customizable digital gauge cluster. It offers 29.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, expanding to 63.5 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. The total passenger volume is 104.3 cubic feet in the models without a sunroof. Front passengers have 40.9 inches of legroom, while rear passengers have 39.9 inches. The LT comes with cloth upholstery, and the RS trim adds Evotex synthetic leather with Torch Red accents and Santorini Blue contrast stitching. The ACTIV version combines Evotex with sueded microfiber in Maple Sugar and black. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel come standard. Wireless charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated rear outboard seats are optional.

The standard Chevy Safety Assist Package includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, front pedestrian and bicyclist braking, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, following distance indicator, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams. Adaptive cruise control, blind-zone steering assist, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, rear park assist, side bicyclist alert, and teen driver mode are additional features. The RS and ACTIV trims offer extra safety options, including a 360-degree camera system and rear pedestrian alert. Traffic sign recognition technology is available on all models.
